Resin Keepsake Pieces

Preserve your flowers with elegance and depth. Resin pieces create a beautiful, glass-like finish where your dried flowers are gently suspended — making your keepsake both artful and functional.

How the Process Works

  1. Drying

    • Your flowers are carefully dried in silica gel to help maintain their shape, color, and texture.

    • Once dry, each petal is ready to be embedded in resin.

  2. Design Layout

    • I design a mock-up of how your flowers will appear inside the piece before any resin is poured.

    • You’ll have a chance to approve placement and style details.

  3. Pouring & Curing

    • Resin is poured in 5-8 thin layers. Layering helps preserve depth and clarity, and gives each flower a sense of space.

    • Each layer is allowed to partially cure before the next pour.

Imperfections Are Part of the Craft

  • Bubbles: Despite careful techniques, tiny bubbles are a natural part of resin art. I work to minimize them, but a few may remain — they’re part of the handmade charm.

  • Yellowing Over Time: Resin can develop a soft yellow tint as it’s exposed to light. Keeping your piece out of strong sunlight helps slow this process.

Style & Function Options

Choose from a variety of resin keepsakes:

  • Trays

  • Coasters

  • Blocks / Jewelry-style shapes

  • Hearts or Ornament shapes

  • Custom shapes available

You can also request:

  • Handles (e.g., gold, silver, black)

  • Additional mementos (photos, charms, ribbons, tiny notes) integrated into the design

Care Instructions

  • Display your resin piece indoors, away from direct sunlight.

  • Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth — avoid harsh cleaners.

  • Avoid placing very hot objects on resin trays.

  • Keep in a stable environment (away from very hot or humid areas) to preserve clarity and prevent yellowing.
